31 Days of Halloween – Day 1

I found this seriously awesome challenge and decided I wanted to take part in it.  I’m three days behind, so I am going to get caught up on it now, so please bear with me.

Day 1 – Favorite Halloween Movie

This may sound silly, but my favorite Halloween movie is actually the “Halloweentown” series that Disney put out.  I love watching this series with my kids.  Unfortunately, this year, we don’t have cable and we don’t own the DVDs, so we will have to live without it.  If you haven’t seen them, you should definitely watch it.  They are super cute and family-friendly.

I am a 43-year-old, single mom of 19-year-old boy/girl twins living in an extremely small town in rural Texas. Currently, I am employed as a Site Supervisor for a prominent corporation that provides security officers for homes and businesses.

  1. I finally saw Halloween Town and it’s sequels last year. Being raised on musicals and taking tap lessons just so I could be Debbie Reynolds, I realized that it was only fair to give this flick a look-see. It was really cute, and you’re right, very family friendly.

My favorite Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus. Hands down. Below is a link to a buzzfeed article which perfectly articulates my own feelings on the subject.
