How Music Makes Me Feel

I love to listen to music and have extremely eclectic taste when it comes to the genres of music I listen to. I enjoy everything from pop to rock to alternative to blues. The music I listen to tends to fit my mood.

When I am happy, I enjoy listening to “Happy Phantom” by Tori Amos. When I am nostalgic, I like “Someone Like You” by Adele. When I am angry, I like “What Do I Have To Do” by Stabbing Westward.

Music makes me feel many different things and tends to suit my many different moods. To try to describe it would be as difficult as describing the color red to a person who was born blind. It is virtually impossible.

In the meantime, please enjoy this piece by Tori Amos. If you don’t already know of her music, please check her out. She is a phenomenal artist. I’ve seen her in concert twice and would love to see her many more times.

“Or will I see you dear and wish I could come back
You found a firl that you could truly love again
WIll you still call for me when she falls asleep
Or do we soon forget the things we cannot see”

~ Tori Amos, “Happy Phantom”

I am a 43-year-old, single mom of 19-year-old boy/girl twins living in an extremely small town in rural Texas. Currently, I am employed as a Site Supervisor for a prominent corporation that provides security officers for homes and businesses.
