Well, I don’t go trick-or-treating anymore, but when I was a kid I had those orange plastic pumpkins to hold my candy.  Nowadays they come in all kinds of different colors, but back then all they had was orange.

My kids use pillowcases because it holds more candy.  I wish I had thought of that when I was a kid.  Of course, like I said before, I’m not a big candy eater, but I still enjoyed getting it on Halloween.

After we would be finished trick-or-treating, my brother and I would sort out the candy and give each other what we didn’t like.  Whatever we both didn’t like would go to our parents.  It was a fun tradition.  My kids did the same thing, but they included their friends in the mix.
