31 Days of Halloween – Day 28

Day 28 – Your Halloween Plans This Year

I don’t really have any specific plans for Halloween this year.  We live in the middle of a forest, so it is highly unlikely that we will get any trick-or-treaters.  I might try to convince my kids to check out the activities downtown, but they do tend to be geared more towards younger children.  I’m kind of hoping my son might get invited to go somewhere with his friends (my daughter is still sick at home).  I’d like to see my son get more involved with things outside of his Xbox.

What are your plans this year?  Please leave your comments below.  As always, thank you for reading.

  1. Love this photo & the Movie! I hope to be in our own Apt so I can pass out candy! I just love seeing the little ones dressed up. I miss being able to do that. When we still had our home in Oregon, and even though we have no kids of our own, we would DECK the place out for the kids on Halloween! *Catherine* 😉

  2. Since I don’t expect to have trick-or-treaters (our neighborhood is mostly grad students from the local university), I’m going to watch select Dr. Who and Torchwood episodes that scare my partner and the most — weeping angels, The Silence, that WWII episode where the creepy kid asks everyone if they are his mummy. . . . .

Tomorrow will be better, though, as my work mates and I are putting on a little party for the children at the local battered women and children’s center. I am so psyched about this event that Thursday is going to be pretty anti-climactic.

    • Aw! That is completely awesome! What a great idea! There need to be more people to do things like that for the little kiddies.

One of these days I’m going to find that gas mask and wear it around the house freaking out my daughter. That episode of Doctor Who scares the wits out of her.
