My Week

30-Day Bloggers Group: Tell us about your week. Include your favorite blog entry from your fellow challengers from the preceding week and, most importantly, why. (Special Events: How was your Halloween?)

Well, let’s see, my week consisted of me being forced to pull my daughter out of school to homeschool her because of an administration that was unwilling to work with us.

Then we received so much rain on Tuesday and Wednesday that it caused severe flooding, roads to be washed out and knocked out our water supply for two days. A tree then proceeded to fall on top of a building on our property and we are still under a boil order because of contaminated water.

We live in the middle of a forest in the middle of nowhere, so no trick-or-treaters for us. I guess that spared us the huge cost of purchasing candy to hand out to the little monsters. On the down side, when we went to try to buy discounted candy the day after Halloween, none of the stores in the area had any chocolate left, so that was a major bust.

So, this week wasn’t the best week in general. However, the publication of my eBook and the subscription for my blog made things a little bit better in the end.

How was your week? Please leave your comments below. Thank you!

  1. Congrats on your ebook! I’m definitely going to check it out! It sounds like next week can only get better. I’m so sorry to hear about the flooding. We got slammed last April by a flood and it was HORRIBLE.

    • Thanks! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on my book. Thankfully, except for the tree and the water issues, our property managed to survive most of the flooding. Can’t say the same for the rest of the area thought.
