Death’s 30 Ideas to Relieve Boredom: Idea #6

One of my favorite days was when a friend took me around his town and we went to various stores and free museums and just enjoyed the day out together.  It had been just a carefree day spent in good company and the only money that we spent that day was on the food we ate at a Wendy’s restaurant.  The above pictures are some of the paintings we saw that day.

I encourage you to grab a friend or relative and go out and wander your town.  Find free things to do.  Many towns have free or relatively inexpensive museums or art galleries.  Enjoy yourself and take in the culture that is all around you.

I am a 43-year-old, single mom of 19-year-old boy/girl twins living in an extremely small town in rural Texas. Currently, I am employed as a Site Supervisor for a prominent corporation that provides security officers for homes and businesses.

  1. The great thing about living in New York City, for me, is that a lot of museums have free hours for the public., which I try to always take advantage of. You forget how amazing museums can really be.
