Death’s 30 Ideas to Relieve Boredom: Idea #12

I came across this idea on another website and thought it was a good idea.  Have a “cupboard potluck.” Go through your cupboards, freezers and refrigerators. Find items that may have been purchased a while ago and should probably be cooked while they are still good.  Invite your friends and family to do the same, and then get together for a potluck dinner prepared from only these ingredients and whatever else you have on hand. It’s a great way to have a party rather inexpensively and helps clean out those cupboards.  I suggest actually doing this once every three months.  Maybe you can even get different families to host the gathering, so one person has to always dirty their house.
